Good morning, Delvers! We are one week out from the close of the World's Largest Dungeon. We have high hopes of surpassing the $1,000,000 mark and unlocking numerous impressive enhancements to the campaign. Please keep sharing and spreading the word!

Maps

Many of you have inquired about the maps. There are several map-related offerings in the campaign now!

Region Maps: Anyone receiving a box set will get a Folio of Fold-Out Maps: A beautiful tri-fold tome of all 16 dungeon region maps protected in easy-access pockets. The World's Largest Dungeon is massive, so the maps in this set are strategic maps, not tactical. However, they have been redrawn and enhanced, featuring new artwork and design.

🔓Unlocked High-Resolution Digital Maps: All backers will receive the region maps in high-res digital format

Tactical Maps: We have just committed to converting Book One to Foundry VTT, and that is available as an addon now. This will also include ~32 tactical maps (More or less, ~8 maps per region, to be determined) developed by Metamorphic Digital Studio. That means +~30 tactical maps if we unlock Book Two VTT. 

Boss Battle Maps: At 900k, all backers will additionally receive 16 digital battle maps. Keep delving, adventurers... we're almost there!

🧱 Horrors Below, Fire Above: Meet the Bosses of Book Three

Book Three of the World’s Largest Dungeon plunges you into cursed labs, fire-scarred lairs, drowned ruins, and sunless seas: each ruled by a monstrous presence. These seven bosses are legendary foes brought to life in stunning detail with custom miniatures, ready to take their place at the center of your next epic encounter.


🐐 Anguish – The Chimera

Forged in a blasphemous lab from dragon blood and abyssal bile, Anguish is a chimera of rage and ruin. Three snarling heads, a venomous tail, and flesh that ripples with unstable power. Anguish is the stuff of fever dreams. This towering creature combines bestial brutality with chaotic symmetry: a visceral sculpt with snapping jaws and twisted anatomy that dominates the table like a living weapon.


👁️ Madness – The Draconic Gibbering Abomination

Born of the same foul ritual as Anguish, Madness is the surviving psychic echo: a protoplasmic ooze with draconic essence, sprouting teeth, eyes, and whispers that shred the mind. It doesn’t speak. It consumes. A coiled, sprawling mass of slime, fangs, and gibbering mouths, Madness is equal parts boss and battlefield hazard. Its mini is perfect for any scene where “What is that?!” is your desired player reaction.


 

🔥 Tyrus, Devourer of Kingdoms aka Scorch

The red dragon so powerful even the gods feared to slay him. Imprisoned in magical ice, he slumbers no longer. The Pyrefaust quakes as Tyrus stirs. Towering over parapets, wings poised in preparation, and chest regal and proud, this colossal dragon mini is your campaign’s jaw-dropping centerpiece.


🧙‍♀️ The Hag Coven

Three ancient hags plot the downfall of all who dwell in the flooded halls of the Shallows. With their eyes on the dragon’s throne and their claws in every dark corner, these crones are the Region’s true masterminds. A trio of unique, menacing hags each sculpted with distinctive spellcasting poses, charms, and cruel glee. They’re more than bosses, they’re campaign archvillains.


🐙 Mahg’Gog, the Half-Fiend Kraken

Tainted by abyssal power, this gargantuan kraken rules the sunken Deeps. His army of mutated sea beasts waits only for his command to surge upward and drown the surface. Tentacles writhe around a demonic core, glowing eyes peer from beneath inky depths, and chitinous suckers adorn his otherworldly frame. Mahg’Gog is a full-on kaiju-level finale.


The complete set of 18 Boss Miniatures is available as its own pledge level, and is included in the Legendary Explorer and Dungeon Master pledge levels. Individual Boss Miniatures are also available individually as Add-ons, so you can have a Draconic Gibbering Abomination painted in each of the chromatic dragon colors or field a squad of driders against your players.

Good morning, delvers! I hope you had a peaceful Long Rest! We have some significant updates today on the World's Largest Dungeon campaign.

⚔️ New Stretch Goals

First off, thank you. We are absolutely blown away by your support. Thanks to you, we are already the 🎉15th most funded campaign on Backerkit of all time, and the most funded campaign on Backerkit for 2025!

We have some truly epic new stretch goals created. Two Free Adventures for everyone, Boss Monster cards, book upgrades, and more! I'll dive into more detail on each as they unlock.

And with that, by popular demand, we are extending the campaign by 2 weeks! We believe we can unlock every single one of these!!! 

🐲 Campaign Extended

Many folks have expressed needing a little more time to join the World's Largest Dungeon campaign and get their hands on the campaign's exclusive items. With our newly added VTT support and new stretch goals, we decided to make a whole "world's largest" deal about it. 

The campaign is now ending on June 27th. This will not delay any delivery whatsoever. We are shortening the period of time between campaign close and survey development by the same amount of time to compensate.

Also, please note that Pay in Four is enabled. Your pledge is not collected until the end of the campaign, and BackerKit's Pay Over Time option allows backers pledging $150 or more to split their payment into four monthly installments.

Adding your intended pledge and add-ons now helps us reach our new stretch goals! Don't wait until the pledge manager to customize your pledge. Here's a quick how to on managing and updating your pledge. 

🖥️ VTT Support Announced

Foundry Module for Book One is available now in add-ons

One of your most requested add-ons has just been added to the campaign: VTT Support. World's Largest Dungeon is.... well, it's massive. It's literally 1600+ pages, and even its in-game scale is huge. So, creating a VTT was no small commitment, especially creating one that meets our standards of quality and truly updates this legendary dungeon to modern times. 

To make this work, we've partnered up with two legendary tabletop RPG companies. Foundry VTT and Metamorphic Digital Studio.
 
MetaMorphic Digital Studio is the premier VTT conversion company. They have worked on many legendary titles like Pathfinder, RIFTS, Savage Worlds, and more.

We would like to convert the whole dungeon, but we must ensure it's done right. To that end, this will be broken up into four projects. We are starting with a commitment to Book One for this campaign, which is a 400+ page adventure in and of itself. At our $1,000,000 goal, Book 2 work will begin immediately. If we break past $1,000,000 in a big way, we'll keep going! 

👀 700k Unlocked - Collector's Edition Screen Upgrade 

At 700k, a free upgrade to the Collector's Edition (Hurry, only a few of these remain!) was unlocked. We are partnering with legendary artist Sean Andrew Murray to create a brand new artwork for the Collector's Edition.

 Geoff is an accomplished actor, musician, and podcast host whose versatile voice has graced audio dramas, e-learning content, and corporate narration for major clients including JP Morgan, Hotels at Home, and Honda. New York theater fans may recognize Geoff from their nearly five-year run as android spokesperson John Pointe in Futureproof's immersive "Luxury Universal Experience."

As co-host and producer of the "Fun & Games" podcast since 2017, Geoff brings both technical expertise and genuine passion for gaming to our project. Living in NYC with their wife, 10 pounds of dice, and over 1,500 video games, Geoff truly understands what makes our community tick.
